Fun Animal Facts

In my family we love to talk about imaginary animal battles. To decide who wins the battle, we usually use the competing animals’ special characteristics that can “overpower” the opponent. Here are some fun facts about animals that we hope you’ll enjoy:

Largest animal that ever lived: The Blue Whale. These guys are larger than even dinosaurs!

Largest wingspan: The Wandering Albatross. They can spend up to 6 years at sea without returning to land.

Most Venomous: Inland Taipan. They can kill 100 animals in one bite.

Most Aggressive: The Honey Badger. These creatures are not afraid of anyone, even lions.

Strongest Bite: The Orca. They can rip off flesh and bone.

Least Sleep: Giraffes. They can sleep for as little as 30 mins.

Longest Lifespan (land): Aldabra Giant Tortoises. The oldest is estimated to have lived more than 190 years.
