Who Would Win Dinosaur Rumble!

I LOOOOOVE this book, each time I go to the library I bring my parents to the non-fiction section to look at this series of Who Would Win books and this is my favourite. The author imagines battles between different dinosaurs in a big competition on who the meanest and strongest dino is. Although some of these dinosaurs never ever met in real life (they belonged to different eras in pre-historic times), the book still makes it really interesting and exciting.

Why I Will Love It

One of the best things of this book is it’s real and interactive. I get to think about which dinosaur might win based on the facts presented, before the winner of the round is announced. The illustrations in the book are colorful and dynamic, showing the dinosaurs in lifelike poses, even during battle. These visuals help bring the prehistoric creatures to life, not like other books that just present facts.

This book inspired me to think about how other animals would battle, and I would discuss with my parents which animals (extinct or not) would win if they ever met. If you are like me, you would also imagine what the ultimate animal would be like, and what special features it would have to win all others.

The book also teaches me about dinosaur’s body features, behavior, and habitats through the comparisons. It also introduces basic ideas about adaptation and survival, showing how different traits helped dinosaurs thrive.
